Money donated to the Goblin Defense Fund will be spent in one of three ways:
- Initial donations will be used to advertise the Fund on popular gaming sites, such as ENWorld, the Forge, and RPG.net. If we can find an eccentric multi-millionaire to make a five-digit donation, then we’ll take out a full-page ad in the NY Times. That should create some buzz.
- After we’re confident that we’ve reached as many potential Friends of Goblins as possible, donations will be used to bribe Heinsoo, Mearls, and Wyatt into seeing the righteousness of our cause. It is, after all, the American Way. We’ll dig up their addresses, and deluge them with as many goodies (gift baskets, concert tickets, high-end escorts, etc.) as we can afford.
- Should the trio remain immune to our efforts, remaining funds will be donated to charity; all those supporting the Fund will get a vote as to whom to donate to.
